Welcome:

In an increasingly interconnected world, there has never been a more important time to deliver high-quality international reporting on issues that have an impact on our lives. While much of the media has given up on foreign reporting, we'll have more than 60 correspondents reporting from 40+ countries, who believe that what is happening in the world is crucial to the conversation of democracy in America. Your input is invaluable in helping us to make sure that GlobalPost.com is as good as it can be. Thank you for joining us.

Step 1

You are now ready to enter the beta site. Please spend a couple of hours on the site – navigating through the content, reading articles and exploring the functions. Remember to closely examine GlobalPost's different features, including: search, country timelines, reporter's notebooks, multimedia, and so on.

Once you have finished, please share your thoughts and suggestions with us in the survey below. Be as detailed as possible, your opinions (positive, neutral and negative) and insights will be important to us in the weeks and months to come. We ask that you please aim to complete the survey by January 22nd.

Step 2

Tell your friends and contacts. GlobalPost.com officially opens its doors on January 12, 2009, and from there our newsroom is covering the international stories you need to know 24/7. The "ShareThis" tool on this page will make it easy for you to share GlobalPost with your contacts. Also, make sure to check out Executive Editor Charlie Sennott's Blog, which can be found at groundtruth.globalpost.com. Charlie has documented the lead up to our launch, and will continue to bring you thoughts and insights from the editor's desk.
